How do I get a student credit card with no credit? Everybody told me I'd get accepted for American Express Blue for Students because they LOVE to give cards to ANYONE, but I was rejected. I have no credit. What are some other student cards that might accept me? If I get rejected for one card, does that mean the rest will reject me too?

Most IRRESPONSIBLE students end up over their head in debt. Smart students, like myself, try to build up good credit. I plan on buying my gas with a credit card and then paying it off as soon as I get home. That way I'm building good credit. Don't judge people. Not everyone fits a stereotype.

Credit Card Question from poor college student? I am currently a college student and I have had a bank of America Student Credit card with a 700.00 credit limit for about a year. I have been using the credt card occasionally and then paying the charge off immidietly from funds in my checking account with my banks online bill pay service. I suppose Im using the card a bit like a manual debit card. My question is will I build a good credit score this way or do I need to pay some interest somewhere? Im pretty sure the card has no annual fees but Im sure it has a high APR. Any thoughts?

I want to apply for a student credit card, but I know nothing about APRs and interest rates. Help!? I want to apply for a student credit card just in case I need money while I'm in college. My mom and my sister told me not to but this is something I want to do on my own and see if I can handle it alone. Closing a Bank of America Student Visa Credit Card? Okay I got a credit card by mistake about 2 months ago. It was a Bank of America Student Visa Credit Card. I nothing about history so when I got the card I cut it up and closed it over the phone. I never used it. My aunt told me later that it would hurt my credit and that I should have left it opened.
